Driving home from running some errands with my mother, we passed another man holding a homemade cardboard sign looking for money, food or work. My mom was sharing with me a story about kid she recently helped by giving them some loose change so they could make bus fare. You never know what the person seeking need actually needs, but scripture is very clear that we are never to judge the motive of one's heart. I dropped my daughter off at school this morning and as I was walking back down the hall to leave I noticed a sign on the wall outside one of the classrooms. I stopped to read it quickly and then proceeded down the hall to leave. I silently smiled to myself at what I read not wise to the moment God was using to speak to me.

My husband often works late into the night because he finds often that's when his creative juices flow the best. He has confided to me once or twice that when it's late at night, everything is quiet, it's like he and God are all alone.
